Victorian House Scones- Review and Giveaway
As a tea lover there is nothing that I like better with a cup of tea than a good scone. I am always on the look out for good scone recipes or scone mixes. A few months back I came across this great company on the web called Victorian House Scones. I was rather intrigued by their site and their scones looked really good. I contacted them and they were kind enough to send me their Pumpkin Spice Scone Mix to review.
The scones were easy to make. I just added butter, pumpkin and buttermilk to the mix and baked them according to the directions. With the addition of the pumpkin it made the scones very moist and very yummy. They are a great fall treat to go with a cup of tea or hot spiced cider. They are so good that you can enjoy them any time of the year though. I was able to share mine with a few friends and they enjoyed them as well.
You can go to Victorian House Scones and check out their other scone mixes. They range in price from $7.25-$8.50. I am not the only one who thinks they make a great scone mix. These scones were voted the Best New Product at the 2009 Tea Expo. They would make a great gift for a tea lover or the perfect scone to serve at your next tea party.
The best news is that Victorian House Scones are kind enough to give a Pumpkin Scone Mix(you add pumpkin butter and buttermilk) to 2 of my readers to try for themselves. To enter visit Victorian House Scones and come back here and leave a comment telling me which scone mix sounds best to you.

Ooo...thank you for this! I couldn't decide between the gingerbread and the lemon poppyseed. Both sound awesome! Great gift idea!
The oatmeal scone, especially like the stir in ideas. Yummy!
Smiles!
Pumpkin sounded best to me,especially this time of year.
Last year we had scones and tea for breakfast before opening our Christmas gifts. Although we had Christmas at Thanksgiving because that's when all my kids could be home. I think I might start that as a tradition. My two year old granddaughter loves tea. Of course, I put mostly milk in hers. Thanks for the chance to win.
The Pumpkin Spice looks delicious! Thanks for the wonderful giveaway!
